Admissions

The local academy committee (formerly known as the governing body) of Claydon High School is the admissions authority for the school now that it has academy status.

This means that it is the academy committee, or its admissions sub-committee, that will set and apply the admission criteria for the school.

Year 7 Admissions

The school participates in the Local Authority Co-ordinated Scheme. 

All applications for September 2024 should be made to Suffolk County Council, as outlined in the Admissions to Schools in Suffolk” guide 2024-25.  The school’s published admission number is 149.

All parents will be notified by Suffolk County Council on the outcome of their application after 1st March 2024.

Once your child has been offered a place at Claydon High School in Year 7 for September 2024, we will be in contact to begin the transition process ready for them to join us next academic year.
