Exam Board

At the end of Year 11 students will take their GCSE Mathematics examination. The exam board we use is Edexcel. 

 The Edexcel exams consist of three papers:

  Paper 1 – Non Calculator Paper lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes (80 marks)

  Paper 2 – Calculator Paper lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes (80 marks)

  Paper 3 – Calculator Paper lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes (80 marks) 

Revision Material

The best way to revise mathematics is by answering questions. If you get a question wrong, work out where you have gone wrong and then try again. There are a number of excellent websites that we recommend students use to help them revise.
