Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE)

The PSHE programme at Key Stage 3 and the PD programme at Key Stage 4 includes Citizenship and Careers Education. The PD programme also provides the statutory Religious Education and is compulsory for all students in Year 10 and Year 11.
PSHE aims to develop a range of skills including risk management, decision making, empathy, respect for others and financial capability.

PSHE education helps pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society. From making responsible decisions about alcohol to succeeding in their first job, PSHE education helps pupils to manage many of the most critical opportunities, challenges and responsibilities they will face growing up.
