University Taster Days
SPLENDID event for SEND students in Years 10 and 11
University of Suffolk, Tuesday 25th January 9.45-14.30 and Wednesday 26th January 9.45-14.00
The event is aimed at students who have been identified as having a physical or specific learning difficulty or disability and who would benefit from taking part in a university experience.
Over two days students work with University of Suffolk Staff and Student Ambassadors are involved in subject specific taster sessions, team building activities and social activities. It is a great opportunity for students to find out about university life and see the opportunities that higher education can offer. Parents are also invited to attend on the second day.
The event is free of charge (including transport from school to the University and returning to school).
